Let's see- since we are on the subject of loosing crucial front teeth in our family, Brooklyn is proud to announce the loss of her first tooth. She was walking around the house all day with a bloody tissue wiggling it and wiggling it. (She has a high pain tolerance and thought the blood thing was cool) It was grossing me out! I hate loose teeth- and bloody tissues.
So, that was when our home teachers stopped by. They brought treats and stood in the entryway sang us 'Silent Night' (after shoveling the driveway) and as they turned to leave, there was Brooklyn standing behind them tying floss to the doorknob. Yes, she was going to try the ole 'tie the tooth and slam the door trick'. Isn't it helpful to have older siblings with great advice?
So one of the HTers asked if he could feel how wiggly it was and POP! It was over! No more agonizing, drawn-out, bloody, disgusting mess!!!! Yea!!! When they asked if there was anything more they could do for us- I should've told them they'd done more for me than they'd ever know. What great home teachers!
